July 15th - 17th
A two day seminar on leadership

was conducted for the senior children of Bibiladeniya and Haldanduwana  at Apeksha Hall of Ladani Institute Lancigama,Katuneriya,Sri Lanka

July 29th -31st
A leadership programme was conducted for the senior boys of Thambarawila home at Apeksha Hall.
M/S Sri Lal & Leonard  along with Rev Fr Neville M Coonghe coducted the programme.

August 3rd -5th
Another trip to Mullattivu was made by some of the staff
with the Secretary of the Institute to finalise the building work of the new home at mullattivu.The laying of the foundation stone is planned to be held on the 29th of sept,2011.

August 9th
Ladani gives financial aid to the parents of the sick children who are poor and require regular medication.

A meeting of such parents was held on the 9th of august at Ladani office to review the progress of the sick children.

August 11th
Special day for Ladani Home at Haldanduwana.

Plantation project of Kohila (lacia aculeate)a thorny plant of which leaves and the roots are edible  and banana trees was inaugurated on this day.

August 16th  
The foundation stone for a building was laid by the Director of Ladani.

This land was donated bt Mr Mary Perera of Thoduwawa,Sri Lanka in memory of her late brother.Ladani will use this new building to provide tuition free of charge to the poor children of the area.

30th May 2011.
The Project  - to build a home for orphan children in Mullathivu is in progress. 

Rev. Fr. Director together with the officials of Ladani Institute visited the land  in Mullathivu, allotted by His Lordship the Bishop of Jaffna on  30th May 2011.

Fr. Neville recently visited Canada and the USA

an invitation made by a team of Sri Lankans living in those countries.  He also joined a feast celebrated annually in New York on 22nd May by the Sri Lankan Catholics.

Ladani Staff Members held a Prayer Service

Ladani Staff Members held a Prayer Service headed by Fr. Neville in Ladani, Apeksha on 14th June 2011.

17th June 2011
A programme for adult children was held

as “ Adult Children’s Education Programme” at Ladani Apeksha from 17th June to 21st June 2011.  This was meant for the school leavers in Ladani Homes to select their future carrier and to build their own life.

Ceremonial opening of Ladani Childrens Village:

Ladani takes over the Sendriyamulla Childrens Village on 26th March 2011.With this new addition Ladani now has seven homes under her management. Currently there are ten orphans living in this home. Its planned to renovate the old building and bring the adminstration  in line with the Ladani philosophy.
This home comes under the Electoral Division of Wennappuwa, Administrative District of Puttalam and Divisional Secretary Division of Dankotuwa.

Ladani celebrated its silver Jubilee
To mark this great occasion Holy Mass was celebrated on 27th Nov 2010 at Apeksha Hall of Ladani, Lansigama Katuneriya (Head Office of Ladani Institute) Bishop of Chilaw officiated at this service. As part of Silver Jubilee celebrations a walkathon was planned for the 17th November 2010. It started from Marawila and ended at Kochchikade, a distance of about 20 kms.This was a fund raising event as well an awareness event for the people around the area. Plans are in the process to start a home for orphan children in the north in 2011 and another home in Kilinochchi
