Ladani the brainchild of Rev Fr. Neville Merinus Coonghe, a missionary priest, began its journey with the opening of the first Lama DAya NIvasa, which means HOME OF LOVE AND CARE FOR CHILDREN, at Katuneriya the largest parish in Sri Lanka on the 27th October, 1985.
Initially there were only five (5) children, but today it provides shelter to more than 50 children. And Ladani started with one home has got six (6) homes today providing shelter to more than 200 children.

 

 

 
 
 
 
             

The organization was granted Registered
NGO. Reg No. L41111 on 11th Feb 2002.An approved charity in Sri Lanka as per gazette notification No. 1334All donations to the organization are fully tax deductible.
