Brief Description of Ladani:

An organization deeply committed to the loving care of orphans, destitute and poorest of the poor children It began in 1985.It has six orphanages operating in three Districts Puttalam,Kurunegala and Galle. It operates on two main principles: Curative and Preventive. Looks into the dire needs of the children who come under its purview.

Delve in projects that prevent the increase of such children and this method is called preventive method.Its Head quarters is situated at Katuneriya on the main road of Colombo Puttalam Road.It engages lot of educated and senior citizens as volunteers. It has more than 200 as orphans.This comes under the curative system.
Then as a preventive system it included more than 600 children through sponsorship, feeding and animation projects.
